How to Report Abuse in Texas

If you suspect nursing home abuse, nursing home negligence or nursing home malpractice, you can call 800-458-9858 to report suspected cases of abuse or neglect to the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

You can call this number to report abuse that occurs in:

Nursing homes
Assisted living centers
Day activity and health services

You can also report care concerns about home health and hospice agencies and intermediate care facilities.
